Rosy kit

Designed in collaboration with the Montreal Planetarium, Rosy is a kit and an educational course accessible online that will immerse your students in the world of astronomy.

Thanks to the online learning path and your Rosy physical material kit, follow her adventures and help the tardigrade in her travels from Earth to space.

Help Rosy in her quest to warn Earth that an extraterrestrial signal has been detected in space by completing challenges with the micro:bit nanocomputer in your kit, while learning about space observation, waves, solar panels, light and space communication.

• 1 Sturdy plastic box with protective foam 
• 1 Rosy printed circuit board ( with 1 Solar panel integrated)
• 1 Infrared sensor
• 2 Male/female connecting wires
• 1 AAA battery holder
• 1 USB cable (USB-A to Micro-USB) if the micro:bit is included
• 1 User code for the virtual learning platform
• Guide to connecting to the online platform
• Please note: The micro:bit is sold separately and/or included with self-service purchase as an option

Not included:

• 1 x micro:bit microcontroller (optional)
• 2 x AAA batteries.

A micro:bit is a programmable nano-computer with integrated sensors and actuators, making it easy to learn how to use programming and coding software.
